The Levin Performing Arts Society is a community theatre committed to providing quality entertainment to the Horowhenua region.

Because of the absence of records it is difficult to establish the exact birth date of the society. What is known is that as The Levin Amateur Theatre Society productions were staged prior to 1914. Through various ups and downs the society has continued its proud tradition of presenting quality live theatre entertainment, with some big name productions such as Les Misérables being produced.
